Detha-rëye Fêqê (/ˈdeʃa/ /ˈrëje/ [ancient; antique] [fungus]) is a subtropical Town located in Whitemist Dutchy, Yêgècêkêthê Provence, within the Dalandic Empire.

The name Detha-rëye Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Detha-rëye Fêqê was founded by Ch́i̊h́ Glkëmêpí Zêpí, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Detha-rëye Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 29°C (84°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 32°C (89°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 26°C (78°F). Overview

Detha-rëye Fêqê was founded durring the early 13th century in winter of the year 1248, by Ch́i̊h́ Glkëmêpí Zêpí. The establishment of Detha-rëye Fêqê was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Ch́i̊h́ Glkëmêpí Zêpí electing to pay people to resettle in Detha-rëye Fêqê.

Detha-rëye Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Detha-rëye Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Detha-rëye Fêqê is is constructed arround a series of spacious canals mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town is the proud owner of a properly designed set of renforced walls made from mighty querried stone blocks. Their construction and material choices would make a dwarf weap with joy, for each and every part of the elaborate fortifications are purly functional and robust well byond reason. Even nonexperts can tell the walls are an excelent defencive structure. The town's exceptionaly well made fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.

Detha-rëye Fêqê has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Detha-rëye Fêqê’s streets. Yet, deep down, you know this atmosphere is a carefully created illusion. You can see the ocasional seam in their tapestry. You’re not sure what has them doing their best to act so carefree, but act carefree they do.

Detha-rëye Fêqê has a long tradition of martial expertise. This may be a crisply-organized history of skilled native levies, or it may be a natural belligerence in the people that leaves them familiar with bloodshed. While their neighbors and liege doubtless respect their talents, this very aptitude might make them more willing to turn to steel than prudence would advise.

Detha-rëye Fêqê's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is admittedly strange and non-linear style rooted in defiance of symmetrical shapes. It championed the creation of buildings with a unique visual appearance. the structural norms of classic buildings and deforms or moves away from elementary architectural principles. By including non-linear designs processed into its buildings and favoring fragmentation, this style expressed a form of controlled chaos.
